Information

The Botanical Garden (Polish: Ogród Botaniczny w Kielcach) is located in Kielce, and its entrance is at Karczówkowska Street. It was opened in July 2018 as a branch of Geopark Kielce located in the eastern sector of the city. Its area is over 13 ha (the exhibition area is about 11 ha). The complex has been divided into over a dozen departments with various plant collections, and also includes four show gardens. Right at the entrance is the first of the show gardens - the French garden. Another is the country garden. The mini Japanese garden consists of characteristic red wooden elements (torii gate, bridge) and bonsai trees. The last of the show gardens is an oriental garden. In its center there is a fountain, and the surface is made of tiles with characteristic patterns. The three water reservoirs in the botanical garden are quite impressive. In total, they occupy as much as 5,000 square meters of space. In the garden there is also an alpine garden consisting of rocks with plants characteristic of the Polish mountains.

Please note that ITS-Poland works with groups only (10 participants and more).
