Information

The first burlesque house in Poland (Polish: Dom Burleski) is located in Warsaw at 10 Bagatela Street, in the premises called "Worek Kości". A burlesque show starts every Thursday at 21.00. Each performance is individual, always on a different subject, with the participation of various performers, led by Anna Wojtecka, who combines cabaret, stand-up and burlesque in her shows. Burlesque is a kind of dance and vocal show. It is a form of coquetry, combined with dancing and singing. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a retro striptease show. It is a genre of art in which artists interact with the audience using the aforementioned means. The dancers present themselves to the viewers, flirt with them in various costumes that refer to past eras and emphasize feminine shapes. There are many elements of the outfit that are an integral part of burlesque, including fitted corsets, stockings, high-heeled shoes or ostrich feathers.
