The figure of Christ in Świebodzin (Polish: Figura Chrystusa Świebodzin) presents Jesus Christ as King of the Universe. The reinforced concrete sculpture is 36 meters high, of which 33 meters is for the figure of Jesus, and 3 meters for the gilded crown crowning the monument. It refers to the statue of Christ the Savior, which was built in Rio de Janeiro. However, it is about 3 m higher than it. It is the tallest statue of Jesus in the world. The statue of Christ in Świebodzin was placed on an artificial mound next to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. The main initiator of the monument was the parish priest, prelate Sylwester Zawadzki. Since 2006, Jesus Christ the King of the Universe has been the patron saint of the city of Świebodzin.
