Darłowo – Zamek Książąt Pomorskich (Castle of Pomerania Princes) can be an interesting point of your Baltic coast trip. It is the only gothic castle in the Polish coastline and its construction started in the 14th century. During its history, the castle was used as a stronghold, a warehouse, a jail and since 1930 it has been a museum. In the castle you can climb 24 m high tower to admire seaside views and watch numerous exhibitions of: birds, marine topics (poaching, salmon lifespan, warships), religious art, folk art, antique furniture, instruments of torture, the eastern art and Darłowo town.
