Gdańsk Main Square
The colourful and turbulent history of Gdańsk resulted in a fact that the city kept welcoming new inhabitants coming from various regions of Poland and even Europe to settle in well here. They brought their own culture and customs, enriched the diversity of this beautiful city. Of course, this also affected the local cuisine, which can be now experienced by visiting numerous restaurants in Gdansk, which offer excellent and unique dishes based on regional products. That is why we would like to invite you for a walk around the city which will allow you to learn about the character of this city through its cuisine. On our route you will be able to taste dishes and drinks inspired by the cuisine of old Gdańsk, Kashubians, traditional Polish cuisine or dishes of the communist era. We will discover the taste of regional delicacies and beer produced in a small craft brewery.
If you would like to experience more, we will take you on a trip outside the city, to the beautiful Żuławy region, where you will be able to try cuisine based on the historical recipes of the Mennonite settlers.
