„Julia” Crystal Factory (Polish: Huta Szkła Julia w Piechowicach) is one of the few existing crystal glass producers in Poland. Visitors can admire the manual process of producing glass masterpieces and participate in workshops where they learn the secrets of glass art. The tourist path goes through many departments incl. places where experienced craftsmen blow and form hot glass mass, literally conjuring up crystal products in front of tourists. During the tour, you will learn about one of the 3 methods of forming glass works: blowing, slow-forming, pressing (depending on the production plan being implemented) and other extremely interesting production stations. You will also see the process of grinding and applying beautiful decorations. Crystal Factory also offers workshops: Engraving and Glass painting workshops. The glassworks are open every day, even on public holidays.
