In Kamieniec Ząbkowicki you will find a monumental, neo-gothic palace from 19th century which was built for Netherlandish princess. The palace has a rectangle shape with sides of 75.3 and 48.3 meters. It also has four huge towers of 33.6 meters. The cubic capacity of the palace is 90 thousand m3 and usable floor space is 20 thousand m2. In 2012 the palace was taken over by local authorities, which organized partial reconstruction and now the palace is available for tourists. All reconstruction works are planned up till 2030 to recover the palace’s former, full splendor. Unfortunately, there are no original furniture and decorations. Still, there is an exhibition with photos of the building’s former appearance. The palace can be visited with a guide and it will definitely make a great impression on you with its grand scale and beautiful greenery. A park surrounding the castle has 100 hectares. For the price of palace ticket you can also visit a near by post Evangelical church and a museum exhibition with post Cistercian collection of chasubles.
