Kórnik Castle's current structure of the castle comes from the middle of the 19th century and is in an English neo-Gothic style. Still, the first fortifications in this area date back to the medieval times. Nowadays, the castle hosts a museum and a library. In the museum visitors encounter various exhibitions: furniture collection in diverse styles and from many epochs, paintings, sculptures, numismatics, military items, porcelain and silverware, ethnographic and natural history items. It is also a good idea to reserve some time for the castle's natural surroundings and have a stroll there.
