Information

The museum is situated about 30 min drive from Kielce (23 km). It can also be visited in connection to climbing trip to Łysica summit, as a walking trail there starts only about 800 m from the museum. The museum is small, as it only has 3 rooms including a souvenir shop with minerals, rocks and jewellery. Still, the owners have gathered surprisingly huge number of exhibits in this small area. The rocks and minerals come not only from Poland but also from all around the world. The exhibits are of high quality, they include natural rocks, polished ones and also sculptures and other articles made of minerals and rocks. The museum can be visited either with guide or without him or her. It is opened from May till October. There is also possibility to visit it in other months but such visit has to be arranged in advance with museum owners. It is a place that you really must visit if you plan a trip to St. Cross Mountains.
