Ćmielów is famous for its porcelain production so, we are going to visit Living Museum of Porcelain. It is situated at 243 Sandomierska Street (about 33 km from Sandomierz 40 min drive and 72 km from Kielce about 1:10 drive). In the museum visitors learn how porcelain tableware and porcelain figures production process looks like and they can also make their own figures. Museum stands show us the procedure step by step and tourists can perform all the tasks to create these beautiful and valuable objects. Apart from live exhibition visitors can also admire old porcelain exhibition, porcelain ikons and pictures gallery and van Rij works of art gallery (former Ćmielów designer and now acknowledged modern art artist living in the USA). In Ćmielów factory we will also find a souvenir shop where we can purchase beautiful Ćmielów products. Ćmielów Living Museum of Porcelain is the only such museum in Poland and a visit there is highly educational and entertaining.
