The NBP Money Center is the most modern exhibition and educational center on banking in Central Europe. Several thousand unique exhibits have been collected on over 2,000 square meters. The Money Center offers visitors a total of 16 exhibition rooms. Here visitors can see coins and banknotes from different periods, find out how the oldest money systems worked, visit the Treasury, as also see a unique collection of 919 the most valuable coins from the NBP collection and pick up a gold bar yourself. Particularly noteworthy are the rooms with interactive devices that allow you to check the authenticity of money, see the inside of an ATM or learn about the design and production of coins and banknotes. The mission of the NBP Money Center is to popularize knowledge about the history of money and an accessible presentation of issues in the field of economy, banking and financial markets.
