Information

Oporów castle is situated about 2 h drive from Warsaw, 1:15 h from Łódź and 1:20 h from Toruń. The castle was built in 15th century. It consists of a household, tower, keep and chapel. All that is connected by defensive walls. The castle is surrounded by a moat and picturesque park established in the first half of 19th century. Tourist can organize there picnics and bonfires there. In the park there is also a Neo-gothic cottage where tourists can hire rooms. The castle museum has an exhibition with collections of paintings, sculptures and handicraft. It is also possible to visit the museum with a guide. The castle chambers and courtyard can also be hired for conferences, banquets and concerts.
