Information

Mała Panew is a right tributary of the upper Odra. It flows through the Śląskie and Opolskie voivodeships. The river begins near the town of Koziegłowy, and flows into the Odra river near the town of Czarnowąsy. The total length of this river route is 134 km. Mała Panew is characterized by a variety of surroundings and is a meandering river, that is, it winds through the fields and forests. The wildness of the surrounding nature, varied course, picturesque shores make it sometimes called the "Opole Amazon". At the same time, it is the most interesting and best-developed water tourist route in Upper Silesia, which makes it a great place for Saturday and Sunday tourism. Visitors can find here canoeing riverside hostels professionally prepared for tourists, as well as natural recreation areas, walking and cycling routes. Most of the canoe trail runs through forested areas. The sandy banks of the river provide opportunities for rest and rest during the trip.
