Rafting on the Stobrawa river
Rafting on the Stobrawa river

Information

The Stobrawa is a right tributary of the Odra River, flowing through the Opolskie Voivodeship. The Stobrawa Run marks the historic border between Lower and Upper Silesia. The advantage of the river is the cleanliness of its waters, sandy bottom, picturesque location and relatively shallow depth. An additional attraction of rafting down the Stobrawa river is the fact that most of the route runs through the Natura 2000 area "Łąki nad Stobrawa near Kluczbork" or through the Stobrawski Landscape Park. The rafting begins behind the dam of the reservoir in Kluczbork, then leads through the city park, the vicinity of single-family houses and hospital buildings, and ends at Kościuszki Street, where it is possible to stop at the playground. The duration of the trip is about 1 hour. For "thrill seekers", however, it is worth continuing the trip along the 100-meter tunnel under the railway track. Due to the dams and other obstacles on the river, it is necessary to transfer the Canadian women several times during the trip, which may also be a kind of additional attraction and an opportunity to provide participants with information about the attractions and curiosities of the Kluczbork Land.
