Walimskie Sztolnie are one of the elements of the Riese complex in the Sowie Mountains. They are located on the border of the towns of Walim and Rzeczka. Riese is the code name for a construction project of Nazi Germany in 1943-1945, consisting of seven underground structures. The construction of the "Riese" complex was one of the largest military investments of the Third Reich. The preserved buildings are visited by tourists and amateurs of military facilities. However, some of the underground tunnels are closed.
