Sopot Pier (Polish: Sopot Molo) is the longest building of this type at Baltic Sea as its length is about 0.5 km. The first pier in Sopot was constructed in 1827 so, the building has long tradition in Sopot. Recreational areas not only include the pier itself but also 20 000 m2 square. In winter the square offers skating rink. At the square there are also other attractions such as a fountain, a light house with a view point, a band shell and souvenir shops and bars. In 2011 at side of the pier the new marina was opened and it offers spaces for 100 yachts. When you visit Tricity it is definitely a must to see this showpiece of Sopot.
