Lwówek Agate Summer is an annual international festival prospectors of minerals who come to Lwówek Śląski from all over the world. The program of the event includes over 200 stands, including over 80 presenting only minerals and fossils, several stands with presentations of cutting and polishing decorative stones, a stand with a free valuation of polished gemstones operated by members of the High Diamond Council in Antwerp, a "geoland" zone for children from an agate pit and a natural zone with local flora and fauna. The stock exchange is accompanied by over a dozen thematic, collector and competition exhibitions in the town hall. In addition to events related to geology, festival also includes concerts on two stages, a fair of various non-geological products and sports events.
