Museum of the Blessed Fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko (Polish:Muzeum Błogosławionego ks. Jerzego Popiełuszki) is located in the basement of the Church of Saint Stanisław Kostka in Warsaw. It was opened on October 16, 2004, on the 20th anniversary of the death of Father Jerzy. The exhibition presents the maturation period of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko, his priestly vocation, the historical conditions in which he lived, people important to him, the history of his death and his subsequent efforts for beatification. There are several thousand exhibits in nine museum rooms, including Father Jerzy's personal belongings, items related to his martyrdom, photos, film and sound presentations. Jednym z najcenniejszych eksponatów jest sutanna, w której zamordowano księdza. The museum is modern and multimedia, which additionally attracts tourists and facilitates sightseeing.
