Information

The Museum of Toys and Play in Kielce is the largest and oldest toy museum in Poland. It is located in the historic 19th-century building of the former market halls. Visitors can see over a dozen exhibitions, including 5 permanent exhibitions: Toys Town, The models, Heroes of animated cartoons, "Zatkało cocoa?" Creative toys industry and childhood in Poland, and Etnographic toys. The most valuable part of the collection are historical toys, including dolls from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and 19th-century lead soldiers, a German miniature sewing machine, a projector for glass slides, doll rooms, foreign and Polish blocks. The oldest exhibit is a German wax doll from the end of the 18th century. During the tour, children have the opportunity to play in the play corner with new, ecological toys, and in the summer - also in the courtyard of the Museum.
