The uranium mine (Polish: Kopalnia Uranu) is located on the northern slope of Żmijowiec in the Śnieżnik Massif. It operated in the years 1948-1953 and included 20 drifts, 3 shafts, and the total length of all mining workings was over 37 km. In total, 20 tons of uranium ore were mined here. Adit no 18 is open to the public and is located on the road connecting Kletno and Sienna. It is made up of a separate system of workings located in the north-eastern, uppermost part of the mine. Visitors will see many attractively lit local minerals (fluorite, amethyst, quartz and others). The adit is completely safe in terms of radioactive radiation. It is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00. A guided tour takes approximately 45 minutes.
