Information

Turbacz is the highest peak of the Gorce Mountains lying within the Western Beskids. It belongs to the Crown of Polish Mountains. The peak is 1310 meters high and is surrounded by dense pine forest. The Turbacz Mountain is crisscrossed by PTTK trails, so it can be accessed from all sides, but There is only one road to the top. Near the top of Turbacz there is a hostel with a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains. There are as many as 110 beds available in the hostel, and there is a restaurant and a cafe all year round, which also serves regional dishes. The highest peak of the Gorce Mountains is a place visited by hikers, but also cross-country skiers, ski-tourers, horse-riding enthusiasts and mountain bikers. Every year there is a Winter Camp, which is the largest winter training camp in Poland, and the Gorce Champion MTB cycling marathon runs through the top.
