Information

Wambierzyce, also called "Silesian Jerusalem'', are located in the Cedron valley, on the eastern slopes of the Table Mountains, in Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The most popular object in Wambierzyce is Basilica Church. The basilica was created as a result of the birth of the cult of the Virgin Mary of Wambierzyce in the Middle Ages, associated with a 14th-century miraculous figurine. In Wambierzyce there is also a unique Calvary wambierzycka. This complex was built in 1683-1708. It consists of 79 chapels. A genuine pearl among the monuments of the Kłodzko region is also a mobile nativity scene – the oldest in Poland.
