ZOO Leśne Zacisze is located in Lisów near Kielce. The first animals appeared here in 2002. They were horses, goats, chicken. Each year, the zoo expanded, new pens, aviaries and alleys were built. Since 2016, Zoo Leśne Zacisze has the status of a zoo, the fifth private in Poland. On the area of 15 hectares live here, among others ostriches, parrots, antelopes, camels, lemurs and prairie dogs and meerkats. Visitors will meet over 400 animals representing nearly 120 species. The biggest attraction for visitors is the African lion named Simba. There are barbecue areas in the zoo that visitors can use for free. There is also a playground for children. Various types of picnics, organized events, and educational trips for children and young people take place in the Leśne Zacisze Zoo. The zoo's opening hours vary depending on the season.
