St. Simon’s House (Dom św. Szymona z Lipnicy) is a quite new facility located in a calm street with little traffic. It provides peace and quiet in the very heart of Cracow, away from the hustle and bustle of its busy streets. A great asset of the place is the fact that its windows overlook the bastilles of the Wawel Royal Castle and the garden of Benedictine’s Monastery. The lively Cracow’s Main Market Square as well as the historic Jewish district of Kazimierz are within walking distance.

The house is able to provide accommodation for 45 persons in total in 20 en-suite rooms, including twin/double, triple and quadruple rooms. All rooms are bright and kept in warm colours. Groups are accommodated in the same building in adjacent rooms. Students are on the same floor with teachers. Hairdryers can be borrowed at the reception desk. Bedlinen and towels are included in price. Neither the building nor the rooms are accessible to people moving with the aid of wheelchairs. There is no elevator.
On the premises, there is free Wi-Fi network as well as a small library with foreign language books.

There is no restaurant in the building, however, St. Simon’s House cooperates with a restaurant placed merely 300 m away. It offers breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00 as well as dinner. Moreover, guests are welcome to take advantage of fridges and a microwave which are available in the hall of St. Simon’s House. There is also a vending machine with beverages.

Reception desk is round-the-clock only in the summer season. Guests can check in from 15:00, checkout time is 11:00. Luggage storage is free of charge.

The nearest bus/tram stop is merely 200 m from the facility. The distance to PKP/PKS (main railway/bus station) is 2 km and to the airport – 13 km. It is hard to drive up to the facility. Buses can take advantage of a parking lot next to the Wawel Castle.

Deposit from guests on the spot is not required.
