Grand Hostel Gdańsk is situated at calm 43/44 Świętojańska Street in Gdańsk, but very conveniently in the heart of the city centre, only 170 m from the famous Gdańsk’s Crane. It is two stories building with 9 hostel rooms that can accommodate up to 29 guests. Two of the rooms have bunk beds.
The hostel has in total: 4 TWIN rooms (can be joined to create DBL), 1 TRIPLE room with two single beds + a sofa bed, 1 SGL room, 1 TRIPLE room with three separate single beds, 1 six-bed room with three bunk beds and finally 1 eight-person room with four bunk beds. Bathrooms are not available in all rooms. Rooms without bathroom: triple rooms with separate beds, two double rooms with single beds, for six people with three bunk beds, eight people with four bunk beds. There are three shared bathrooms, one shared bathroom is used by 7 people when the hostel is full.
The building is not suitable for disabled clients. There is no elevator in the building. There is one common room where a group can be together and relax. Wi-fi is free of charge in the building. Towels and bed linen are free of charge. The hostel doesn’t have its own restaurants. Breakfasts have to be organized outside the hostel. The hostel has common kitchen with a microwave and offers free coffee.
The distance to the closest public transportation bus and tram stops is 800 meters. The main railway and bus stations is 1 km away and Lecha Walesa airport is 14 km from the hostel. It is possible to stop the coach in front of the hotel when the group is picked up or dropped of for some kind of sightseeing tour but the hostel doesn’t have its own parking lot.
The hostel has payable luggage storage. Check in starts from 2 pm, check out is till 10 am.
