Helvetia is a cosy, family hostel located in the street with little traffic in the very centre of Warsaw. Just around the corner, there is a main pedestrian zone Nowy Świat and Krakowskie Przedmieście St. which is the part of Warsaw’s Royal Route entered to the official register of monuments. The hostel is an ideal place for all those who want to spend quality time in the heart and search for affordable accommodation in a calm, homelike atmosphere.
The Helvetia Hostel is able to provide accommodation for 53 guests in 14 rooms including: double, twin, triple and quadruple ones as well as six-bed and eight-bed dorms. Apart from that, there are also family apartments with a kitchenette and a balcony. Additionally, the hostel has also 6 rooms (Helvetia Plus) placed in a tenement house across from the Helvetia, so in case of a larger group its participants can be shared between two buildings. Some rooms have private bathrooms, however, 11 rooms have access to shared bathrooms with hairdryers (there are three bathrooms with toilets and showers and additionally two separate toilets). Bedlinen are included in the price and placed in all the rooms. Towels are only in the rooms with private bathrooms. Neither the building of the Helvetia Hostel nor its rooms are fit for the disabled.

On the premises, there is a common room with comfortable sofas, tables and a computer where groups can freely get together. The hostel’s guests can play some board games or grab and read a book from small foreign language library. The hotel does not have a bike rental, however, in the nearest surrounding there are city bikes and scooters available to rent. The hostel does not have its own restaurant, however, it offers half-board option. Furthermore, the guests can take advantage of a common kitchen with a microwave, help themselves with complimentary coffee or buy some refreshments in vending machines.

Reception desk is opened on a 24/7 basis. There is also a complimentary luggage room and, moreover, some rooms are equipped with lockers with locks.

The hostel is placed nearby bus stops and an underground station. The distance to PKP (Main Railway Station) is ca. 2.5 km and to the Chopin Airport – ca. 9.5 km. Buses are allowed to drive up to the facility and park up in one of the parking lots placed nearby (e.g. at Parade Square).
Deposit from the guests on the spot is not required.
