The Eden Hotel is located in the carefully restored 15th century home of a Jewish merchant Isaac Jakubowicz, the founder of the Isaac Synagogue. It is perfectly situated right in the heart of Cracow's old Jewish quarter – Kazimierz, close to many historical sites, such as The Remuh Synagogue, the Old Synagogue, the Wawel Royal Castle, The Schindler's Factory and the former Jewish ghetto in Podgorze. The medieval Main Market Square with famous St. Mary's Basilica and Cloth Hall is only a 10-minute walk away. The distinguishing feature of the Eden Hotel is the fact that it is the only hotel in Poland with a mikvah (ritual Jewish bath). Apart from that, the hotel is decorated with some unique paintings, mezuzah and posters from various period of times.
Hotel Eden offers 27 rooms (single, twin, triple and quadruple) equipped with a private bathroom, a fridge, satellite TV, a telephone, coffee and tea facilities, free Wi-Fi internet access and an additional computer for hotel guests in the lobby. Additionally, there is a possibility of using extra beds. All the rooms can accommodate up to 76 guests. The facility is adapted to the needs of disabled people.
Hotel guests can additionally take advantage of a unique Salt Grotto as well as more traditional forms of relaxation, which are sauna and massage.
Buffet breakfast is served on a daily basis from 7:00 to 10:00. On request of the guests, the hotel offers also a kosher breakfast.
A hotel day begins at 14:00 and ends at 12:00. Hotel staff offers its help in organizing some transfers or all-day trips.
