Four-star Francuski Hotel is situated at 13 Pijarska St., in a historic centre of Cracow. It was opened in 1912 and in the postwar period it was believed to be the most exclusive hotel in Cracow. Its unusual history as well as old, elegant interiors decorated in art deco style make the hotel a unique place. In the close proximity to the hotel, one can find the Old Town with the Main Square, the Wawel Royal Castle or the old Jewish district Kazimierz.
The Francuski Hotel puts at guests’ disposal as many as 94 accommodation places in 42 single, double, twin rooms and suites. Additionally, there is a possibility of adding extra beds in 14 rooms to make them for triple-use. All rooms are decorated with wallpapers and numerous pictures of the old Cracow. The building is adapted to disabled people, but the rooms are not.
On the premises, there is some space for conference or business meetings – it is a room able to accommodate 25-30 persons in a theatre layout.
The hotel offers also its own restaurant, located on the ground floor, which serves French cuisine. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11:00. It is also possible to have dinner here. Moreover, the hotel offers afternoon tea, served on a daily basis for free.
Hotel reception is round-the-clock. A hotel day starts at 14:00 and ends at 12:00. Guests can deposit their luggage on complimentary basis.
The closest bus/tram stop is merely 150 m away, PKP/PKS (main railway/bus station) – 1 km away, and the airport is ca. 16 km from the hotel.
It is not possible for the bus to drive directly to the hotel, it can stop at the corner of Pijarska and Sławkowska St. (ca. 100 m from the hotel). The nearest bus park is in Zyblikiewicza St.
