When ordinary people think about major sport’s events they rarely think how much logistics is involved in all types of national and international sport events. Most people don’t even know that usually as soon as an important sport’s event venue is announced, majority of hotel spaces vanish straight away from the market and that the accommodation prices start to soar. This is the case for example regarding 2023 European Olympics that take place between the 21st of June and the 2nd of July in Cracow. The city’s accommodation are hired not only for the games itself but also ahead of this date for training that has to be carried out before the event. ITS Poland often helps with finding accommodation and training facilities for sportsmen and sportswomen and also sport fans. Just to give you an example, this year we felt privileged to help two rugby teams taking part in Cracow’ games in June 2022. Both our teams Dynamiters and Mighty Bows stayed in a 3 star Wyspianski Hotel, located in a very heart of the old town, just by Planty Park. The great asset of the hotel is a parking space also for the coaches just by the hotel’s building which is a great rarity in Cracow but helps groups a lot. We also assisted the group in collecting the documents necessary to achieve Polish entry VISA. We are always happy to assist sport enthusiasts and we hope that we will have a lot of such opportunities in the near future as Poland will host more and more interesting international sport events.
