Halit-Kuchnia Wielicka Restaurant is situated in Wieliczka, at 9 Daniłowicza Street, only 50 meters away from Wieliczka Salt Mine’s main entrance. The restaurant is located in a house from the 17th century.

Karczma Halit-Kuchnia Wielicka recommends meat and fish baked in salt, as well as desserts with character, in which the sweetness is emphasized with a pinch of noble salty spices. The menu includes, among others: “serwacianka”, “prosionka” baked in salt and Wieliczka apple pie. The local “solanka” with noodles is unrivalled, and a slice of locally baked Wieliczka bread topped with lard and smoked plum accompanied by homemade pickled cucumber is a return to what is best in Polish cuisine: simplicity and high-quality ingredients. Vegetarians can also visit Halit-Kuchnia Wielicka with confidence, because even in this version the Wieliczka feasts taste delicious: tomato soup, mushroom soup in a bread bowl or Russian dumplings with filling in salt dough are pure poetry.
