Smreczyński Staw (Fir Tree Pond) is an ideal continuation of the Stroll in Kościeliska Valley and visit in mountain hostel at Ornak mountain pasture. Morskie Oko (Sea Eye) in the Tatra National Park is the biggest and the most beautiful lake in Zakopane area (lake length is 862 meters, width 568 meters, depth 51.8 m). The waters of Morskie Oko are turquoise in colour and the lake itself is surrounded by the highest peaks in the Polish Tatra Mountains. Black Pond below Rysy Summit (Polish: Czarny Staw pod Rysami) is also called Czarny Staw nad Morskim Okiem (Black Pond above Sea Eye Pond). Czarny Staw lays at 1 583 meters above sea level which means 188 m higher than Morskie Oko pond.
