Golf courses in Poland are usually located in quiet areas, surrounded by green areas, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Sand Valley Golf & Country Club is located about 45 min drive from Gdańsk. It is a complex that includes an 18-hole golf course and a golf academy. Krakow Valley Golf & Country Club is a modern golf and recreation complex just 45 min drive from Krakow centre. The heart of which is an 18-hole championship course, designed by one of the most famous golf architects in the world - Ronald Fream from California. On an area of 160 ha in total, a year-round recreation center has been created, which includes: 18-hole course, 6-hole training course, driving range, 2 x putting green, chipping green, training bunker, equipment rental, pro-shop, two restaurants , hotel, conference center, sports shooting range, horse stud and 3 ski lifts.
First Warsaw Golf & Country Club was the first golf course in Poland. Located in Rajszewo, 25 km from the center of Warsaw. It is considered by many to be one of the most demanding golf courses in Europe. First Warsaw Golf & Country Club is embedded in the picturesque scenery of the Vistula river basin, in the heart of the Ławice Kiełpińskie National Park. The field is rich in specimens of old trees: over 150 years old weeping willows and majestic oaks. There are 12 lakes and ponds on the site, with a total area of 20 thousand square meters. The golf facility consists of an 18-hole championship golf course, PAR 72, a 250-meter covered driving range, a short game training center and a 600 square meters club house.
Summing up, Poland has very good conditions for golf players. The areas where golf courses have been established, single out with outstanding natural values and new and modern facilities, that provide dreamlike base for all golf lovers.
