Information

Busko-Zdrój is one of the most famous health resorts in the country. Busko's sulphide waters and iodine-bromide brines are natural spa resources with proven healing properties, and their beneficial effect on the human body is used in the treatment of many diseases, including diseases of the musculoskeletal system, rheumatic diseases and dermatological diseases. In the city, however, there are many tourist attractions and monuments that can be visited during free time from medical treatments or rest. The great advantage of the town is the beautiful and extensive Park Zdrojowy. There are many interesting buildings and facilities in the park, incl. Marconi sanatorium, also known as "Buskie baths", as well as Adam Mickiewicz Avenue, a promenade covered with chestnut trees. The Museum of Polish Automotive Industry of the 20th century "Polska na Kołach", which was opened in 2013, is very popular among tourists. Also worth visiting is the Buska Region Museum, which is a typical historical museum. It contains the most important information about the foundation of Busko-Zdrój, as well as archaeological exhibitions and exhibits from the Second World War. Several cultural events are organized in the city throughout the year, such as Buskie Meetings with Folklore, the Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival, the Wojtek Belon Polish Song Review, the Florian Fair, the Provincial Legionary, Soldier and Partisan Poetry Review, and Song.
