Information

The cable car to Kasprowy Wierch is the only alpine cable car in Poland. It connects Kuźnice (part of Zakopane) with the peak of Kasprowy Wierch. It works all year round, taking from 30 to 60 people into the trolley. The cable car journey takes only a few minutes. The trolley covers the almost 4.3-kilometer route in two sections (tourists change at Myślenickie Turnie). The journey ends at an altitude of 1,959 m a.s.l. at the top station of the cable car, just 26 m below the peak of Kasprowy Wierch. There are unique views from the top. You can admire the High Tatras and the Western Tatras, as well as Zakopane and nearby villages conveniently arranged in the valleys at the foot of the mountains. The viewpoint allows you to stop for a moment and enjoy the unspoiled nature. In winter, the cableway is used mainly by skiers and snowboarders. In two boilers on the slopes of Kasprowy there are chairlifts and there are alpine ski runs, almost 14 km long (with FIS approval). In Kocioł Gąsienicowy there is a four-person lift, in Goryczkowe - two. From the Kasprowy peak you can ski all the way to Kuźnice.

Please note that ITS-Poland works with groups only (10 participants and more).
