An European Bison Enclosure (Polish: Woliński Park Narodowy - Zagroda Żubrów) located in the middle of the forests of the Woliński National Park is about 2 kilometres south-east from Międzyzdroje - a popular sea-side resort. The farm’s beginning date back to 1976, when four bisons were brought here form the Białowieża and Borecka Forests. The heard number varied between 5 and 12 specimens throughout the years. Currently there are 5 females and 3 males. The farm also keeps boars and deer that are being treated here as well as white-tailed eagle and Eurasian eagle-owl.
