The Street Theater Festival in Toruń is a theater festival that has been taking place since the mid-1990s. It is organized every year, during the summer holidays, in the historic Old Town. It lasts for two weeks. They are organized by the Baj Pomorski Theater in Toruń. The festival presents a variety of street art, especially from Western Europe - France, Spain, Italy and Germany. Every year, a dozen or so artistic groups present themselves. Passers-by are included in the performance. The Street Tetars Festival consists of, among others sky-high acrobatics, live music, circus tricks, exquisite costumes and performances even ... underwater! Individual performances are addressed to different generations of residents and tourists visiting the city. Their aim is to present the latest trends in contemporary street theater, based on a combination of music and circus art.
