Information

InfoBox (Polish: Gdynia InfoBox Obserwatorium Zmian) is an important information and culture-creating point for both Gdynia residents and tourists. It is serves as a unique “observatory of changes”. There is a huge 8 x 4 m city model, containing 1700 three-dimensional models. It includes the current objects, as well as those that has not yet been built. Thanks to the large touch screens placed next to it, visitors can make an interactive journey to Gdynia in the future. Educational classes for schools on the history of Gdynia, road safety and ecology are very popular. There are also other attractions for the youngest called Junior Box, where, children can use Lego blocks to build trolleybuses or buildings reminiscent of Gdynia. The big attraction of Gdynia InfoBox is the 22-meter high observation tower, which can be accessed by stairs or a panoramic elevator. From there, visitors can admire the progress in the implementation of some investments, as well as see the only street axis in Poland, which breaks into the sea.
