House of Theater Craft is located in a renovated warehouse of staging equipment of the Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Kraków, at 3 Radziwiłłowska Street. The building, built at the beginning of the 20th century, was designed by Jan Rzymkowski as a storehouse for theatrical decorations and staging means. Currently, there is a costume warehouse, rehearsal room and tailor's workshops here. It is also a place where thematic workshops are held. In the space of Craft House, you can also see a unique exhibition Thinking Hand, devoted to theatrical craftsmanship and Juliusz Słowacki. Visitors can see here how complicated the theater organism is and what the process of creating performances is about. The aim of the exhibition is to popularize and familiarize visitors with the phenomenon of theatrical arts and crafts, as well as the history and the present day of Teatr im. Juliusz Słowacki. The facility is entered in the Register of Monuments.
