Jakob Haberfeld Story, Vodka Museum in Oświęcim

Information

The Jakob Haberfeld Story Vodka Museum was established on the site of the former Steam Factory of Vodka and Liqueurs. It functioned in this place from 1804. The aim of the museum is to present the history of a very influential Jewish family from Oświęcim, who ran the Vodka and Liqueur Factory. The fate of history has brutally interrupted the operation of the factory, but the stories associated with it are so extraordinary that each of us should get to know them. However, the Jakob Haberfeld Story Vodka Museum in Oświęcim is not only an opportunity to learn interesting facts about the Haberfeld family, but also to delve into the secrets of producing vodka. Depending on their preferences, visitors can choose to visit with or without tasting. For motorists, it is possible to taste chocolates, pralines and hand-made truffles. Haberfeld's drinks contain natural ingredients, the water used for production is only spring, there is no glucose-fructose syrup. Natural honey, pitted cherry, spices are used. The offer includes, among others, rye vodka, potato vodka, honey vodka, cherry liqueur and walnut liqueur. All drinks are kosher and produced in a small manufactory 30 kilometers from Oświęcim. For beer lovers from a pipa, craft beer from the Cieszyn brewery is poured. Cigar fans can light them in a specially adapted place.
