About 2 h ride from Wrocław (about 135 km) there is an interesting palace Kliczków. The first notes about the stronghold come from 13th century. When it comes to cubic capacity it is the biggest building of this type in Lower Silesia. The main part of the palace is in Neo-renaissance and Neo-gothic style. Currently, since 2001 the castle has had mainly hotel and conference centre function. It is actually the biggest palace-hotel centre in Poland. The hotel has 89 rooms and can host in them 219 guests. It also offers spa center. In the palace there are a few historical chambers which were meticulously restored: a library and court, chimney and theatre chambers. The palace is surrounded by a beautiful old park. There is also one curiosity in Kliczków which is a horse cemetery.
