Information

The manor house in Koszuty is a beautiful, romantic, late-baroque manor house from the third quarter of the 18th century. It was built around 1760, probably for Józef Zabłocki. It is a half-timbered building with corner alcoves topped with spherical cupolas and outbuildings between them. Surrounded by a landscape park, it is one of the most charming places in Greater Poland. Currently, it houses the Museum of Średzka Region. The permanent exhibition of the museum is presented in seven rooms, arranged in the spirit of the former Polish manor house from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The sets of furniture gathered here, as well as painting, fabrics and examples of artistic craftsmanship to complement the decor - set so as to freely move around the interiors - allow to recreate the appearance and atmosphere of a noble manor, and the small furnishings left behind give the impression of the constant presence of its former inhabitants. In 2017, the manor and park complex was entered on the list of historical monuments.
