Information

The Krośnica Narrow Gauge Railway is the biggest tourist attraction of Krośnice and the surrounding area. It is one of the few active park railways in Poland. It runs on the premises of the palace and park complex of the former residence of the Volmerstein family in Krośnice (now the seat of the commune office), along an almost three-kilometer route with five passenger stops with educational boards. The pride of the Krośnica rolling stock is the Px48 - 1907 steam locomotive, manufactured in 1955. The courses are operated by the steam locomotive Px48. In the main station building there is a Tourist Information Center, where visitors can buy souvenirs and a queue bar. In addition to the funicular ride, there are many other attractions waiting for visitors, including recreational ponds, in the summer season a place for swimming, water equipment rental (boats, pedal boats) and a playground. Next to the main station building there is a barbecue shelter for approx. 50 people. The Krośnica Narrow-Gauge Railway is located by the provincial road No. 448 from Milicz to Twardogóra, in the area of the Krośnice-Wierzchowice Palace and Park Complex.
