Mielno is often calleb Polish Ibiza. It is one of the best well known Polish bathing resorts. It lays betweem the Baltic Sea and Jamno Lake. The beach in Mielno is wide and sandy. Along the beach there is a well developer promenade at which tourists can admire sea views. There is also a town promenade at which you will find seasonal shops, cafes and restaurants. There are also two focal points that tourists readily take photos of: a monument of a deer and a fairly new monument of a walrus. It is a symbol of winter bathing enthusiasts that meet in Mielno every winter. Other attractions include an amusement park and a few clubs and discos which are a magnet for young people. Usually, during summer there are also open air concerts and various events organized. Tourists staying in Mielno also often visit nearby attractions of other villages such as: the lighthouse in Gaski (10 km), the promenade in Sarbinowo (7 km) and the fishing village in Unieście (2km), where they can buy fresh, smoked and fried fish. Mielno is definitely one of the most interesting villages at the Baltic coast.
