Duszniki Zdrój in Kłodzko Basin have Museum of Papermaking. It is situated in a unique technology monument, 17th century paper mill (the main building dates from 1605). The museum was opened in 1968 and it is the only professional institution which deals with papermaking industry in Poland. The museum has exhibits showing papermaking history, printing and history of Duszniki Zdrój. Apart from only watching exhibits you can also see paper making show and take part in workshop during which you will be able to produce your own sheet of paper. What is more, the museum also has an interesting John Paul II watermark portraits exhibition. Every year museum organizes “Paper Holiday” to popularize knowledge about paper. As a souvenir from the museum you will be able to purchase various kinds of paper.
