Nakomiady 7A, Nakomiady, 11-400
The palace is in Mazury lake district about 25 km from Mrągowo (about 35 min drive) and 85 km from Olsztyn (about 1 h 25 min drive). The building was erected in 1664-1680. In 1705 it was rebuilt and it has a Baroque beauty since then. A palace-park complex has 180 hectares and it includes also a landscape park. The park was established in the 18th century. Tourists can find here a few monumental trees of about 300 years of age. Even a vegetable garden is an attraction here. In the palace land an old smithy has been renovated and since then a workshop of historic tiled stoves has functioned here. In the palace there are 24 such unique stoves. The building performs nowadays guesthouse functions with 7 rooms. Both palace and grange has been renovated since 1998. Nakomiady palace is an excellent spot from which tourists can enjoy Mazury attractions.
