Information

The Nature Education Center in Zakopane is located close to the Kasprowy Wierch ski lift. It is the most modern facility of this type in the region. The first point of the trip is the largest model of the Tatra Mountains in Poland - the presentation that is displayed on it is accompanied by a voiceover from the teacher. The next stage of the walk is a film screening and very realistic dioramas, i.e. three-dimensional models depicting a meadow and forest and human influence on the Tatra ecosystems - this time the narrators are Tatra animals. The exhibition is complemented by nature films that show the nature of the Tatra Mountains from the perspective of their wild inhabitants. Film screenings take place in newly built cinema halls. However, these are not ordinary projections. One of the cinema halls, in which 3D technology is used, provides additional sensations - gusts of "wind" or sudden movements of the chair. Viewers will also receive special glasses that will give the image a three-dimensional look. During the tour, you can also visit the cave. You can hear about what is happening in the Tatra underground, who lives in them and why. The Discovery Room awaits children, with computer games that teach orientation on the map, exercise memory, help recognize the sounds of animals and practice perceptiveness.

Please note that ITS-Poland works with groups only (10 participants and more).
