Information

The Trzebieszowice Castle is one of the most beautifully kept hotel castles in Poland. Its oldest part rises on a rock above the Biała Lądecka bend, hence it is also called the Castle on the Rock. The history of the castle dates back to the 15th century. Initially, it was a defensive knight's seat. On its remains, the von Reichenbach family created a Renaissance residence with an internal courtyard that was not covered at that time. Later, Trzebieszowice was the main seat of the Wallis family, who rebuilt the castle, mainly from the river side. In the following years, the castle was rebuilt many times. It gained central heating, and the interiors were decorated with neo-renaissance, neo-baroque and art nouveau elements. A fountain and a winter garden were also built. Currently, the former manor house houses an elegant, four-star hotel, whose historic interiors are made available to visitors. The entire complex is surrounded by a beautiful park, full of natural gems.
