Former Palace of Cracow's Bishops in Kielce is now one of National Museum branches. It is the best preserved original early Baroque palace residence in Poland which was built in the first half of the 17th century. Since 1971 it has been National Museum and in 2005 it also opened Italian Garden for tourists. The Palace exhibition includes interiors from the 17th and the 18th century with amazingly well preserved original historic ceilings. The exhibition shows furniture, porcelain, pictures and tapestry. There is also an interesting numismatic exhibition. Sightseeing of the palace with Italian Garden takes about 1.5 h. Just by the palace there is also Kielce Cathedral decorated in rich Baroque style also worth visiting.
