Sightseeing and photography - One day course from Kraków. Ojcowski National Park was created in 1956 to protect Prądnik Valley with caves, plant and animal life in this area. The land of the park is built of Jurassic limestone created about 150 million years ago. Such a geological structure created favourable conditions for development of caves. In the park there are about 700 of them. Kraków is only 20 km from the park (30 min drive). The trip has two aspects: theoretical and practical. The group will visit the Nature Museum in Ojców in which we will pay special attention to nature photographs of the Ojcówi National Park - micro and macro photographs (additionally after the tour a short 3D movie about the creation of the Prądnik Valley). During workshops the group will visit Pieskowa Skała Castle and photograph architecture (general plan, detail). In Ojców we photograph nature (landscape, macro) and at Krakowska Gate (free topic + people). To properly close up such an eventful day we it is possible to go to agritourism farm to download photos and choose the best ones and have a bonfire. Please note that participants must have their own cameras (+ USB cable for uploading photos onto a computer).
