Information

The Great Waterfall on Majdanski Potok (Potok Majdan) is located in Obidza in the Beskid Sądecki. It is a natural waterfall with a height of 5 m, falling freely from the rock threshold. It is surrounded by large boulders covered with moss, which effectively decorates the cascade after rain. It is one of the largest waterfalls in the Beskids. A small wooden bridge leads to the waterfall. The descent is safe. In winter, at low temperatures, a beautiful icefall and huge icicles form on the waterfall. No marked hiking trail leads to the waterfall, which is why it is forgotten and very often omitted. The closest is the blue trail, leading from Obidza to Rokita, from which you can go along the main routes to the mountain shelter in Przehiba or Przysłop.
